Before you set out

Three steps to adventure

One account logs you in to both the website and the game.

  1. Create an account

    Pick a username (4–16 lowercase letters or numbers) and a strong password. Write down your 7-digit delete code too.

    Download and install the client from the Download page.

    In the game you log in with the same username and password as on the website.

First choice

Choose a faction

Three peoples, three stories – all of them equal.

Order of the Blood Moon Seat: Bloodmoon Keep The Order wants the stone reforged. Suncrown Alliance Seat: Suncrown Keep To them a shard is not a curse but a resource: a forge, a weapon and eternal light. Azure Veil League Seat: Veilharbor The League believes the shards must be destroyed before it is too late.

Your faction decides whose side you fight on against the Ash King – and which secret you draw closer to. Playing with friends? Pick the same one!

Second choice

Choose your class

Great weapon and shield, dagger and bow, sword and dark sorcery, lightning and the blessing of the ancestors – the four starting heroes each play differently; the fifth class, the spear-wielding Dark Elf, unlocks after level 300.

Ironvowed Melee · Defence If you'd hold the front line: the Destroyer cleaves with a two-handed weapon, the Defender takes the blows on a shield. Moonshade Melee · Stealth If you love stealth and ambushes – backstab with twin daggers, or wear the enemy down with poison. Ashcaller Melee · Defence If you'd feed on your enemy's life – as a defensive knight or with a two-handed scythe. Runecaller Magic · Healing If you'd strike with totems and elemental runes, or heal your allies with the power of the ancestors. Dark Elf Melee · Mounted If you'd charge with a spear, on foot or on horseback – unlocks after level 300.

Tips for your first hours

  • Follow the quests

    Quests guide you through the starting regions and give you your first gear.

  • Join a guild

    It's easier together. Follow the guilds on the guild rankings.

  • Protect your account

    Never give your password to anyone – GMs will never ask for it. You can change it on the My Account page.

  • Keep your delete code safe

    The 7-digit code confirms deleting a character in the game. Write it down somewhere safe!

  • Can't log in?

    Check the Server Status page to see whether every server is up.
