It's easier together. A guild is a lasting community with its own name, emblem, chat, guild skills and ranking – and guilds can measure their strength over the fortresses of the Clan Siege.
Founding a guild
| Requirement | Value |
|---|---|
| Where | The Guild Guard, in any capital |
| Level | 40 or higher |
| Fee | 20 gold |
| Other | You can't already be in a guild |
Choose "Found a guild" at the Guild Guard and enter your guild's name.
Membership and leadership
- Leaving: "Leave guild" at the Guild Guard (the guild leader can't leave – they can only hand over leadership or disband the guild).
- Handing over leadership: with the Heir's Ring the guild leader can pass the guild to a member. The successor must be online, at least level 40, and not too new to the guild. On success the ring is used up.
- Disbanding: only the guild leader, at the Guild Guard, with a double confirmation. "All shared memories will be lost."
- The Guild tab of the chat window lets you talk to your guildmates.
Guardflame and guild skills
Guilds have skills of their own. The resource that powers guild skills is the Guardflame – fire is the guild's emblem.
Guild plots
A guild can buy its own plot of land. For that you need Adalbert, the Land Registrar:
- Only the guild leader can buy a plot, and each guild can own one.
- You must stand on a plot that's for sale; Adalbert tells you its price in gold.
- Some plots require a certain guild level.
Guild smith
Torvin, the Weaponsmith is a guild smith: at your own guild's smith, guild members forge at a discount. Drag the item onto the smith to start forging. See also Item Upgrading.
Clan Siege (in development)
- Every week six fortresses stand on the map, and the guilds compete to hold them.
- The guild holding a fortress collects a toll on every item sold within the fortress grounds.
- The holding guild also earns cosmetic rewards: a banner and a cloak (see Appearance and Mounts).
Guild rankings
- At the Guild Guard, "Guild Ranking" shows the top 8 guilds as well as your own guild's position and score.
- You can also follow the guilds on the website's rankings: they're ordered by the guild's ladder points, then by guild level.
Guild treasury (in development)
The new Guild treasury button in the Guild window will manage the guild's shared gold:
- any member can deposit; the guild leader (and their deputy) can pay out;
- a log of the last 20 deposits and withdrawals.
The interface is ready; the feature goes live after a server update – until then the window says so.
